2022 Yu Darvish Highlights

After a 2021 season that basically summed up the team as a whole (a strong start derailed dramatically by injuries and inconsistency), Yu Darvish was a reliable, clutch and consistent performer for the 2022 Padres. After an outstanding regular season that earned him Cy Young votes, the 36-year old Japanese right hander didn’t slow down in October, taking early run support and running with it in Game 1 of the NLWCS against the New York Mets and being good enough to win a series-changing Game 2 of the NLDS against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. He delivered 2 quality starts against the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLCS, but the Padres lost those hard fought games in a tough series loss. Cheers to a fantastic 2022 for Yu!
