2022 Blake Snell Highlights

After a slow start due to a halted ramp-up thanks to an elbow scare during the lockout and then an injured groin while warming up for his season debut in Arizona on April 10, Padres LHP Blake Snell turned it on and dominated. The southpaw from Seattle posted a 2.53 ERA from July 1 through the end of the regular season, followed by picking up the win in a crucial Game 3 of the NLDS against the rival Los Angeles Dodgers and the only win for the team in the NLCS against the Philadelphia Phillies (Game 2). With a contract year coming up, expect huge things from the man they call “Snellzilla” in 2023.
