The Severn Princess Shanty is inspired simply by the great Bob Dylan Photograph, and the fact that I travelled on The Severn Princess, I researched for other users and up popped Daniel Defoe who refused to cross the channel as the speed of the tide gave him the colly wobbles (understandably). Artistic licence allowed me to put us all together on the Severn Princess. Hopefully the song will help raise awareness to her restoration by a dedicated band of Volunteers of The Severn Princess Restoration Trust.
