The sky was too hazy to make a beautiful sunrise, but the birdsong was marvelous. Birds and fishermen make up the main activity.

I felt bad for scaring the great blue heron. I was sitting in my car to escape the mosquito cloud when it flew in thinking it had found a human-free location. When I came back to my cameras to restart them, I startled the heron—and it startled me—what a squawk! Until I have external recorders for my cameras, I have to restart them every 29 minutes and 50 seconds.
