Ingredients
1. Bitter gourd (Pavakka) - One big
2. Green Chilli - 3 to 4
3. Fresh Curd - 2 ½ cups
4. Oil - 1 to 2 cups
5. Crushed mustard - 1 tbsp
6. Salt - to taste
7. Grated coconut - 2 ½ -3 tbsp
Seasoning
8. Oil - 2 to 3 tsp
9. Red chilli - 3 to 4
10. Mustard seeds - 2 tsp
11. Curry leaves - 2 to 3 twigs

Preparation
1. Deep fry the bitter gourd rounds & green chilli rounds separately in
hot oil till crisp, allow to cool.
2. Grind the coconut into a smooth paste with a little curd.
3. Crush the crisp bitter gourd gently into a coarse
mixture with your hand.
4. Add the crushed bitter gourd & fried green chilli rounds into the curd,
followed by coconut paste & crushed mustard. Mix well.
5. Season with the ingredients & pour the curd mixture, quickly put off
the flame, transfer into a bowl adding salt. Mix again.
