You'll often hear the Sega CD has no games. Well here is one very much worth playing.

Episode Notes:

1. Captured via the Mega SG/Mega SD combo.

2. While the first here made it way to the US, part 2 on the Saturn did not.

3. There are a few changes between the Japanese and US versions. First, Rami is much older in the US release. Second, Spot the dragon goes from being a male to a female with associated cutscenes changed to reflect that.

4. Studio Pierrot did the cut scenes here. They were an animation studio that did countless works like Naruta and Yu Yu Hakusho. They did the work in Keio 2 as well.

5. The UK had a magazine called Sega Pro that gave away a demo disc for this at its release. To the surprise of many, it contained the full game that was accessible thanks to the still intact stage select.

6. The magazine review you saw here was from the US Next Generation. They had a habit of coming down hard on games that didn't break barriers or introduce anything new. Their reviews of games like Lords of Thunder and Snatcher on the Sega CD are criminal.
