Urmila and Madhumati are worried about the families getting separated. Urmila decides to leave the house with her family, but Madhumathi pleads with her mother-in-law to forgive them. However, the Desais learn that it was Arjun's grandmother's way of teaching them a lesson.

The story walks through the happenings in Desai family. It is a traditional business family, headed by strict and stubborn Urmila Devi. Varsha and Amrutha, the two daughter in laws of Desai family, differs in personality. Amrutha is a lovable, innocent girl, who is the favorite daughter in law of Urmila, while Varsha is very selfish and rude. Arjun, Amrutha’s husband behaves like he has no love towards her. However, there is love and care inside the heart of Arjun, which is yet to come out in the open.
