Bass cover and transcription of Magma by King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard.
Tabs transcribed by me using Guitar Pro and Go PlayAlong.

Playing tips: so Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushrooms and Lava is pretty much a jam record, a cool one too. After watching a few live versions of the song (this one is the KEXP one) I realised that the structure and therefore the bass part is mostly improvised so that's what I've done too.
Some parts are transcribed note by note (the first couple of minutes, the major changes throughout the song and the very end) but in the middle I tried my best to emulate what Lucas usually does on the song, and I encourage you to do the same without copying every single note I played. The song is in D Phrygian, but I guess everyone knew that already.
Also, I use an overdrive (EQD westwood) from the first break (1:40) till the end of the song
