Canadian Pacific 2816: The Race to Chicago

On May 3rd, 5th-6th, 2024, We managed to photograph and videotape the CPKC Final Spike Tour with Canadian Pacific H1b 4-6-4 #2816 taking charge of 2 F units and 15-17 cars going from Calgary, Alberta to Mexico City, Mexico. In this video, we will be seeing 2816 leaving the CPKC Humboldt Yard in Minneapolis, Minnesota to St Paul Union Station for one of their public stop events and later heading to the CPKC St Paul Yard. On May 5th & 6th is when the chase begins chasing the tour for almost 500 miles. This was one of the longest Brodie Productions has ever done involving steam and this won't be the only time we will see 2816 and hope to see it again in the future. Special thanks to CPKC for giving 2816 another chance to shine once again. Enjoy!
