1960s Nylint Ford Econoline Pickup "Restomod" Restoration

Today, we have one of our favorite restorations for you. This is a Nylint Ford Econoline Pickup, also known as Nylint Model #6200. Model #6200 started life as a Puppy Kennel truck, although it is now missing its large dog cage in the bed. Many of you were curious about how we find these toys, so we brought you guys along as we drove to our local flee market. As you can tell from our video's intro, we love our old Ford trucks, so the Econoline model was a must have for us.
This Nylint model was based on a 1961-1967 Ford Econoline. Aside from the dimensions being pretty accurate, this model featured many genuine looking trim pieces and Ford branded components. It came as a van or a pickup, just like its real life counterpart. We decided to go for a custom build because these old vans are just too cool to leave in this plain-old stock configuration. Feel free to sit back, relax, and join us as this old Econoline gets a one-off restoration.
