Seattle's Best Carrot Cake? It's a Bainbridge Island Food Tour!

Crepes, amazing carrot cake, and a wooded hike - what more can you ask for in a food trek to Bainbridge Island? (It's not truly Seattle's best carrot cake, because it's not in Seattle, but it is only a ferry trip away.) Today we're off to the town of Winslow, an adorable tiny town a thirty minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle and full of some amazing sweets and eats. And it's super walkable (and fairly accessibly to boot!), so be ready for carrot cake and crepes however you travel! With a detour to Bloedel Reserve because you've got to see this place.
