Today, we look at the "Queen of the Panther's". This 2003 Lincoln Town Car represents the last major update before the discontinuation of the model in 2011. Used everywhere from personal transportation, to funeral, professional and transportation everywhere in between, the Town Car, and the platform on which it is based, became synonymous with the words reliable and well-built. Its siblings, the Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquise, share the same sentiment. It is not uncommon to see a Panther-based automobile with over 200,000 miles on the clock and still run fantastic. The Town Car we are looking at, incidentally, began life as a rental car and still looks very nice to this day and is in very nice condition! Proof positive that these cars were like the Timex Watch; "Take a licking, keep on ticking".
