This is Why I Came to Quy Nhon, Vietnam

This was my first time in Quy Nhon and I decided to go to the local market which has very little reviews.

After exploring market for a little bit, I headed to food section, because It was morning and I was hungry. The first stop was to have rice with squid and pork. The plate with the food looked so good and it was very delicious. They also gave me soup with vegetables that had a bitter taste. Very delicious. This meal cost me $1.20.

Walking away from the market I found a nice little street, where I saw people selling 'bánh tai vạt' (flap cake). I thought why not. I had two different types, 3 pieces with shrimp and two pieces with, I think it was casava filling. Very delicious. It cost me $0.80.

The time for a refreshing drink has come. I found very interesting place, right in front of the market. A gentleman was selling a drink that had longan fruit, a small apple, and some kind of vegetable or grass. This was a unique but very delicious and refreshing drink that cost me $0.40.

After a nice drink, I remembered that I have my watch in the bag. The watch strap was broken, one part just came out. I saw a guy who was repairing watches and asked him if he could fix it. Without any waiting, he started the work. He found the part, but it was a little too big. Then he began to do some trimming to the part until it was a perfect fit. This watch repair cost me only $0.40.
