BRITISH RAILWAYS IN THE 1990's
Peak Forest Sidings (Buxton) on 25th May 1994
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of another visit to Peak Forest Sidings near Buxton taken on 25/05/1994. Basically to see how the railway scene was changing. Slowly but surely the class 37s were becoming less frequent and class 60s were more prominent. I again captured on tape the same working as the day before at Milford Junction Locomotive 59201 powering up the incline from Great Rocks sounding quite effortless compared to a double headed 37 train. This location certainly had changed railway wise quite a lot since my first visit 6 years before. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.
