B1 bombers launch for NATO exercises, emergency declared on return 🚨

Two Rockwell B-1B Lancers launch for take off, shaking the ground and setting off car alarms. On return, one of the bomber planes declares an emergency and has to do a go around. The bomber conducted a low approach to give ground crews a visual on a potential landing gear issue. Once the bomber landed it was attended to by the Fire Department, before proceeding to parking. The supersonic bomber planes (nicknamed 'Bones') of the 7th Bomb Wing from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, are currently deployed to RAF Fairford, a bomber airfield for the US Air Forces in Europe. There are a total of four B-1 Lancers deployed for Bomber Task Force 24-1 in the European theater. During their deployment they will participate in NATO exercises with other nations and fly over several different areas in the continent.
