NOTE: This special Video-Course Sub-Series is designed to gain knowledge of the effects a circuit has on the rest of the ECU and how it reacts to such INPUT-Values.

The Oxygen O2 Sensor ECU Signal is designed to measure the Oxygen content of the exhaust and generate a voltage accordingly. The ECU uses the O2 sensor to fine tune injector pulse. The O2 sensor is not used during starting the engine.

Seen here, the O2 sensor is represented by a resistor to the far right. As we've said, the O2 sensor generates a voltage signal between 0 and 1 volt. One side of the O2 is tied to the ground, while the other side is connected to the E C M input, signified here by the ....
