This poignant recitation is about an Irish Emigrant in London and his longing for his homeland. This recitation has been doing the rounds for many years especially around Christmas time. I hope I've done it justice. The Christmas carol 'See amid the winter snow' is from a recording by the Valda Chamber Choir and the the soloist is my son James.
