Cold Wave Grips Parts Of North India: North India Shivers In Nail Biting Cold | India Today News

Dense fog is expected to engulf most parts of Northern India including Punjab, Haryana, south-east Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, western Bihar and north-west Rajasthan for the next two days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday.
The weather body also issued a "cold-day" alert for the Delhi-NCR region.
In its advisory, the weather department added that the foggy conditions may affect flight operations, vehicular movement and train operations in the region. Earlier on Friday evening, moderate fog was observed in parts of Uttar Pradesh and isolated pockets of north-west Rajasthan, Punjab, south-east Uttarakhand, Assam, Haryana and Delhi.
