In this video, I show you how to do a test print from a Brother MFC-J6530DW colour inkjet printer, directly from the machine itself. This means that this method can be used with the PC off, or even if your printer is not connected to anything at all.

A nozzle check is a great way to troubleshoot print quality issues with many other Brother monochromatic laser printers, including the MFC‑J3530DW, MFC‑J3930DW, MFC‑J6930DW and MFC‑J6935DW. Checking the printer's ability to produce black, cyan, magenta and yellow is essential in troubleshooting almost any print quality issues with LC3217 or LC3219 ink cartridges.
