The Legacy Standard Bible, Handy Size Edition

Описание к видео The Legacy Standard Bible, Handy Size Edition

A review of the Legacy Standard Bible (LSB) Handy Size Edition, the slate gray cloth-over-board hardback (ISBN 9781636640563).

The LSB is a conservative update to the 1995 New American Standard Bible. It contains the 66 books of the Protestant canon.

This edition features a 9.5 point text arranged in a single column, divided into verses. The text is usually line-matched, but not always.

The text block is sewn and lies flat in Genesis. The wide inner margin keeps the text far from the gutter.

The 32 gsm paper is reasonably opaque, so that show-through (ghosting) is usually not distracting. The paper displays some specular reflection (sheen).

This edition of the LSB does not include text or translation notes, nor are there any references or maps. A concordance is not included. However, 46 pages of dot matrix paper, useful for taking notes, are present.

From about the 13:23 point, this video focuses on the character of the LSB as a translation.
