Close Air Support is something a lot of people take for granted. On one hand, people detest getting bombed in their tanks but on the other, some players love to go out and shoot these players down without mercy.

The truth is, a single player that can do well with Close Air Support in War Thunder, can end a game outright on their own. In this video, I want to set you on that path to become that player.

In the first part of the guide, I teach you how to set up your controls so that you can keyboard fly your plane while you scan for targets on the ground. We'll discuss the best options to use as well.

The second section I'll teach you how to set up a server so that you can practice against bots so that other players can't disturb you while you hone your skills.

Once we've established the basics, we'll move on to how to bomb enemy tanks and the best way to approach it. Followed by how to set up for rockets and the best way to maximise your kill potential. Then, we'll move on to keyboard guided missiles and how to set up your controls for NORDS and Bullpups.

This guide for War Thunder should help newer players and even some more experienced ones start increasing their frags in games.
