HOW TO CLOSE AIR SUPPORT IN WAR THUNDER - F2A-1 Buffalo - OddBawZ

Disclaimer: War Thunder is a mixed vehicle game. I used to hate being killed by planes, but as soon as I learned to fly, it changed everything. Imagine War Thunder as 3D Chess, every piece has its strengths and weaknesses. You need to learn them all so you can counter the enemies pieces, no matter what they throw at you!

Close Air Support in War Thunder Ground RB is one of the most controversial topics on the game. Every day I get hateful comments about how I play but I was once with the players that complained about being bombed, rocketed or strafed. However, once I learned to fly and defend myself and my team, it opened up so much more fun to be had in the game.

I could have sat for months just complaining about air craft... but instead, I chose the other path to finally git gud.

There are plenty of Close Air Support options in War Thunder for every nation, this is just my personal advice on the best one to learn in.

The Buffalo F2A-1 is a beast for its battle rating. Although lighter air craft and biplanes will make short work of it if you're inexperienced... in the right hands and with practice you should be near unstoppable in the skies.

The F2A is equipped with 3 50 cal machine guns and a single 7.62 machine gun. The .50 machine guns can rip tanks to shreds from top down, make light work of air craft and absolutely devastate open top vehicles.

If left unchecked in the air, the Buffalo can easily change the tide of the battle.
