Visiting Stonehenge

Описание к видео Visiting Stonehenge

Visiting Stonehenge was an amazing experience. I set off from London by train and visited Stonehenge which was amazing to see in person. In this video I explain how I planned by day to include a visit to Stonehenge and Bath, which trains and busses I took and what I saw along the way.

Transportation and Tourist Sites mentioned in my video:

London Underground (Tube)

The Stonehenge Tour Bus

You can get this bus at the Salisbury https://bit.ly/2TFrNcR and it drops you at the Stonehenge Visitors Centre. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes as it stops to pick up other passengers at a couple stops along the way. You will have views of the town of Salisbury and the Salisbury Cathedral. You can buy tickets ahead of time or directly from the driver.

Stonehenge - English Heritage

Buying tickets online in advance is recommended. You will need to select an entry time when you purchase your ticket. You have a 30-minute window for entry. I aimed to arrive a bit before my entry time which worked out since my original train was cancelled which delayed by arrival. If you are late speak to the visitor centre people and ask when you will be able to enter. Likely they will still let you in but you may have to wait until the crowds die down.
