Abandoned 1920s School | Oklahoma City

OBSCURIST TOURIST 123 - Come along with me as I explore this abandoned Oklahoma City School Administration Building. Built in 1921, and ultimately completed in 1924, this building was eventually abandoned about 5 years ago. During my explores, I'm always fascinated by how engaged and passionate locals are about their defunct buildings. A few approached me to tell me they had been fighting with the City of Oklahoma for years to have this place restored and put back into use. Unfortunately, the city wants to raze this place and erase its 100-year history to put something else in its place.

Regardless, let's explore this beautiful building together.
