Developing Skills & Character: Edgar Ibarra, UTSA

Every semester UT-San Antonio selects one "spotlight student " from the graduating classes of each department. Edgar was selected as UTSA's College of Business spotlight student. Edgar won the $1,000 UTSA pitch competition where he came up with a product and 90-second pitch for an audience. He won the $100K UTSA innovative technology venture competition, a "shark tank"-like competition where he and a team of engineers teamed up to create a mask to treat patients with sleep apnea.
