A body believed to be Miya Marcano has been discovered.

Sheriff John Mina provided an update on October 2 at 1:15 p.m.

On Oct 2, Orange County Sheriff's Office Emergency Response Team members were searching the area of the Tymber Skan Apartments off South Texas Avenue in Orlando when they discovered a body we believe to be Miya Marcano.

OCSO Dectective have notified Miya's parents of this tragic news.

As a community, we grieve the loss of Miya. The men and women of the Orange County Sheriff's Office extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends and loved ones.
