Dennis heads to Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, FL to check out some cool cars at the Festivals of Speed. This show has everything! Classics, race cars, exotics, movie cars, hot rods, one-offs, customs...the only criteria is that it must be the best of the best. And These. Truly. Are. Starting with the centerpiece, the Thunderbolt, a wild custom, boat tailed behemoth built around a ground pounding V12 Rolls Royce engine, redefining "muscle". Equally unique and muscle bound is a 1967 Camaro, redone tip to tail to give it an exotic car feel. Modernized everywhere, you can still see it's origins and classic lines, but with a sleek and sexy makeover that even originalists have to respect. On the original side we have an entire set of Virgil Exner Imperials, 1957-1961, with the '61 being the "big show", a beautiful, 20 foot long yacht filled with styling front to back and fully loaded. Truly top tier. Jumping back in time to some vintage speed, a '32 Ford with a supercharged flathead V8. All metal, all correct, understated, and again...just as perfect and pristine as anything at this show, including a '66 M1-B McLaren race car from the Can Am era of racing, the last bastion of truly no holds barred, run anything, try anything, racing. Truly a fitting way to cap off the Festivals of Speed.
