An IMG's Road to Residency | Ep 04: More USCE

This week I had another full week of observerships. I didn’t get a chance to edit last week’s vlog so I decided to just lump it into one giant vlog. So in total, so far, I’ve had 3 weeks of observerships, 1 week in UC davis, and 2 weeks in Sutter Health. I got these observerships through personal connections, and through these connections I’m securing more observership and volunteer opportunities which hopefully will lead to letters of recommendation. So far, I have secured at least 2 LORs!

Next I'll be vlogging the start of my part-time job era, while studying for step 3.

I haven’t been able to study for step 3 all that much in the past 3 weeks because of all the traveling back and forth from LA to NorCal where all these observerships are happening. I’m hoping to secure observership opportunities closer to LA so that I don’t have to travel too far.
