Taking her inspiration from Studio 54 and the sequin-like energy of the end of the 70s/early 80s - where Basquiat, Keith Haring, Lauren Hutton, Donna Summer, and Grandmaster Flash used to hang - Isabel had us swaying in our seats.
It was a collection that sparkled, for all those who sometimes like to turn on the shine, and the silver touches, whether in sequins or lamé were in abundance. Bare shoulders, short jumpsuits, patchwork acid wash jeans with a disco backdrop. Over-the-knee boots, just right for strutting, as well as travel-inspired prints, meant we were on the dance floor but also right at home with Isabel.
And just as the energy reached its crescendo - the silver curtain lifted and it really was time to party: WANTED L’Oréal and Isabel Marant launched their makeup collaboration and the audience streamed onto the floor. Now, it was our time to boogie.
