Junk Silver Unboxing & Mercury Dimes Vs. Roosevelt Dimes

In this video I do a junk silver unboxing and I also compare silver mercury dimes to silver Roosevelt dimes. Junk silver is great for silver stacking. Junk silver is 90% silver US dimes, quarters, and half dollars from 1964 and earlier. Mercury dimes were minted from 1916-1945. Roosevelt silver dimes were minted from 1946-1964. $1.40 Face Value of junk silver usually equal 1 ounce of pure silver. If you multiply $1 FV by .723 you will also get the weight in silver. I ended up weighing both piles of junk silver dimes to find out which pile had more silver in it. Junk silver is also referred to as constitutional silver. I like silver stacking junk silver coins because they are very liquid. I like stacking junk silver dimes the best because they are the most fractional. I am very happy with this junk silver purchase and I cannot wait to pick up more junk silver in the future!
