This setup doesn't require too much in the way of high level or Legendary weapons, and if performed properly it gives you a 100% chance of killing a Fireclaw with its Sac Webbing intact. This is because when performed correctly, this method does not allow the FIreclaw to perform a single attack. This is good, since you need 25 Sac Webbings to complete all of the game's upgrades.

I start the battle off by triggering one of the Fireclaw's Shock Coils from stealth. This was done for video purposes to demonstrate the 100% nature of this technique, but personally I don't normally start this way. I like to start off by applying the first Ropecaster binding manually. This is risky and might get you killed, but it leaves an additional Shock Coil in place and buys some leeway if you make a mistake somewhere on the way.

While the Fireclaw is in Shock I apply the Ropecaster, as it has a much longer duration. I make sure the Boltblaster has been reloaded and check my health to make sure I'm low enough to have triggered Low Health Ranged +4. Next I apply Brittle, targeting armor pieces to ensure he doesn't break the rope binding.

Now this next part is key. I use a Shock Arrow to queue up the next explosion from one of his Sparkers, then very quickly execute Sustained Burst. If you're using a higher level Boltblaster you might actually have Sustained Burst get cut short by doing this, but for the Plasma Boltblaster it's just about right. The shock explosion hurts, but as long as you have Low Health Defense +4 it won't kill you. The most important part of this setup is ensuring you have Low Health Defense +4 and Low Health Ranged +4 because of this moment.

At this point the Fireclaw is immediately in the Shocked state again, so I renew my Ropecaster and repeat the cycle. I do this until there are no Shock Coils remaining on his backside. For the final Sustained Burst I activate Ranged Master to ensure the kill.

If you don't have The Sun Scourge yet, simply substitute it with the Seeker Hunter Bow sold in Fall's Edge. You have plenty of time to apply Frost, don't feel the need to rush. My Elite Ropecaster is level 3 but since you're working within the timeframe of Shocked I think even a level 1 would suffice.

For armor I'm using the level 3 Nora Valiant, which is purchased in Lowland's Path (just south of the Arena) and unlocks the wonderful Low Health Ranged +2 Weave. But you'll also need the Low Health Defense +2 Weave from the Tenakth Marauder, purchased in Thornmarsh. You can come up with alternate setups using the Utaru Protector or Tenakth Skirmisher pretty easily, as long as you have Low Health Ranged and Low Health Defense +4 ultimately (obviously make sure you have the skills from the Skill Tree, too).
