As I continued my journey from the adventures with Melissa along the English-Scottish borders, I made a quick solo stop at Berwick upon Tweed. This town is right on the Northumberland coast and is the northernmost town in England, 4 km from the Scottish border. Berwick has a unique story, shaped by its history of changing hands between England and Scotland. Though it resides within the boundaries of England today, its historical ties to Scotland add layers of intrigue to this town.

My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries.
