This is a tutorial on how I do my garter heel flap and gusset for my socks. It is not an official pattern by any means, it is just how I have found it easiest to do this fun little heel for my socks. I hope this helps as I have gotten quite a few questions on how I do my socks.

Knitting socks that are perfect for your foot can be a learning curve. What type of needles do you like? What type of ribbing? Top down or toe up? Heel flap and gusset or after thought heel? Or maybe the Fish Lips Kiss heel? Or something completely different? What works for me might not work for you, so experiment and have fun.
