Our genetic material, DNA, decides how each person should be. If you take the DNA of an average human alive today, it is estimated that at least 2% of it contains DNA from a specific species other than Homo sapiens. This 2% is a global average. There will be slight differences in this from country to country. It is said that it can be up to 4.5% in some local people. This is not just saying. It was discovered by examining DNA samples taken from many people around the world. Today we know that DNA testing is used even to prove a crime in court. DNA evidence is so reliable.

ഓരോ വ്യക്തിയും എങ്ങിനെ ഇരിക്കണം എന്ന് തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നത് നമ്മുടെ Genetic Material ആയ DNAയാണ്. ഇന്ന് ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ശരാശരി മനുഷ്യൻറെ DNA എടുത്താൽ, അതിൽ ചുരുങ്ങിയത് 2 % DNAയെങ്കിലും മനുഷ്യനല്ലാത്ത മറ്റൊരു പ്രിത്യേക speciesഇന്റെ DNA ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും എന്നാണ് കണക്ക്. ഈ 2 % എന്നത് ഒരു Global average ആണ്. ഓരോ നാട്ടിലും ഇതിൽ ചെറിയ ചില വ്യത്യാസങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകും. ചില നാട്ടിലെ മനുഷ്യരിൽ ഇത് 4.5% വരെ ആകാം എന്നാണ് പറയുന്നത്. ഇത് വെറുതെ പറയുന്നതല്ല. ലോകം മുഴുവനും ഉള്ള ഒരുപാട് ആളുകളിൽ നിന്നും എടുത്ത DNA sampleഉകൾ പരിശോധിച്ചതിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് ഇത് കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഇന്ന് കോടതിയിൽ കുറ്റകൃത്യം തെളിയിക്കാൻ വരെ DNA പരിശോധന ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ട് എന്ന് നമുക്കറിയാം. അത്രയ്ക്ക് വിശ്വാസ യോഗ്യമാണ് DNA evidence.
