Welcome everyone! This is an English lesson that reviews different phrases used when asking for a favor. The lesson includes a brief explanation of the grammatical aspects and some practice questions at the end. Feel free to ask questions, provide feedback, or just say Hi! in the comments section 😊😊😊

My name is Flor and I am an English teacher located in San Jose, California. I started this channel as project to help support other English learners in and outside my classroom of over 7 years now. Through this journey, I've learned the basics of basically what it takes to do this (watching lots of DIY videos on youtube for video editing!). Please support this channel by pressing the Like button and join me on this journey by subscribing with notifications on!

Over 8 years full time teaching-before that I did individual tutoring for 6 years. I've worked with youth and young adults in California for over 4 years now. Before that, I taught ESL/ELD classes at a middle school for 3 years in Dallas, TX as well as at an adult language school in the evenings.

3.How many languages do you speak?

Pretty much all ages over 10. I have worked middle school (11-14 yrs old), college (17-23 years old) and older working adults (23+ years old).

5.Did you always want to be a teacher?
I always wanted to be someone to help a lot of people in any way, but no. I didn't know it was something I wanted to do until my first year in college when I volunteered at an elementary school. Growing up, I also wanted to be a firefighter, pediatrician, professional pianist, and an archeologist with a focus on Egyptian history hieroglyphics amazed me as a kid

6.Why teach English?
Why not? lol...honestly, it's been so rewarding to meet people from different cultural backgrounds and learning from them also while I teach them English like learning about their traditions, food, languages, life experiences, etc. So while teaching English online is super fun, I also love interacting with people as much as possible, online and in person.

7.Do you teach online classes?
Since I do teach in person, I currently do not offer online classes. I am looking to create my own website in the next year with more resources for English learners.
