Sod House Visit

My wife and I spent Thanksgiving day, 2008, with her relatives in rural Dawson County, Nebraska. After the traditional turkey dinner, we drove down a rutted path approximately 2 miles north of their property, where an abandoned sod house still stands -- a local attraction apparently. I've only ever seen sod houses that were historical recreations...never an actual lived-in sod house, so it was an interesting experience, even if this one was falling apart.

I tried to shoot this footage without any of the family members in it as much as possible...don't want to embarrass anyone with an unintended YouTube appearance!
