How to test for anterior pelvic tilt

Описание к видео How to test for anterior pelvic tilt

Anterior Pelvic Tilt [APT] describes a pelvis that has assumed a more forward and downward rolling posture. It's not really a diagnosis, it's more so a way of describing how you look. You could argue APT is synonymous with lower crossed syndrome or 'sway back'. Some patients come in to our clinic concerned that they have ATP, that they need to 'fix it', or that it's the root of all their problems.

This video shows ten easy tests to see if you have anterior pelvic tilt. Note that none of these tests alone are helpful in determining the presence of APT. Rather, collectively these tests will help you build an impression of the patient and whether he or she is more indicative of having APT.
