Hiking HALF DOME!

We did this hike in late June 2023, just in the prime of the peak water season after the historic 2022-2023 winter. It made the Mist Trail awesome (and wet) to hike up and added a whole new dynamic to the hike! This hike requires a permit so please do not attempt this hike before acquiring a permit! This hike is also very difficult and is not for everyone. If you realize that you weren't in shape for the hike halfway up the cables, you can put yourself and those around you in danger.
