Korg Polysix vs. Roland Jupiter-4 | Battle of the Late 70's / Early 80's "Budget" Synths

Описание к видео Korg Polysix vs. Roland Jupiter-4 | Battle of the Late 70's / Early 80's "Budget" Synths

After comparing the Polysix to the Juno-60 and Jupiter-8, Zach had a realization-- the Korg Polysix and the Roland Jupiter-4 were both designed to solve the same problem, as budget alternatives to the Prophet-5 and Oberheim OB-X. These synths did not necessarily overlap in production times (Jupiter-4 was released in '78, Polysix in '81), however they both have a very 70's mindset in their build, sound, and inclusion of VCOs and onboard effects. Take a listen to Zach's comparison and demos and let us know what you think of these two underrated gems!
