I harvested a few fruits off of the many mature Monstera plants on the UCR campus, having discovered they were edible and wanting to try for myself.

I never imagined this fruit would have been so incredibly sweet and delicious! I kept it in a tupperware as it ripened and the scales began to come off, to keep ants from getting to the sweetness.

I recommend eating it with a fork, which I did after this video, as the peel of the fruit can cause irritation to your skin.
