Hagerman Gamma Radiation (The Double DISTORT!)

Описание к видео Hagerman Gamma Radiation (The Double DISTORT!)

I've been a fan of Jim Hagerman's designs for a good while now - he really has a knack for voicing circuits to really work with minimal controls. And today, he's taken his DISTORT pedal, given it a tune-up, and then stacked two of them together to create some absolute sonic carnage!

Following in the footsteps of others trialling the concept, the Gamma Radiation doesn't arrive on your doorstep as a fully assembled pedal. Instead, you get a working PCB, a (very orange!) enclosure, and all of the fittings...and you need to bolt it all together yourself. But as a result, the manufacturing process is reduced on Jim's end, and he's therefore able to offer the pedal at a super low price...only $99. It's an interesting concept - but if you don't mind getting handy with a spanner, you ultimately save a good chunk of money.

What do you think? Huge tones? Do you like the "Assemble-Yourself" concept if it means lower prices? Comment below!
