Dr. Paul Kuber, Washington State University Extension, presented information about Prepare 2 Respond, a national , free, online, learner-engaged training program that was designed to empower livestock fair and exhibition employees, volunteers, first responders, and participants by building awareness of biosecurity and training them to prepare for, respond to, and recover from animal disease incidents during fairs and/or exhibitions. The program was collaboratively developed by Washington State University, South Dakota State University, University of Wisconsin, University of Nevada-Reno, and Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development with funding from APHIS' National Animal Disease Preparedness and Response Program (NADPRP, Online Education Program to Enhance Rapid Responses to Disease Outbreaks and/or Animal-Related Incidents Pertaining to Fairs, Exhibitions, or Facilities; Washington State University, FAIN AP20VSCEAH00C037)
