This video is from the perspective of Dr. Byrne at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He explains that he had always wanted to work with his hands. His uncle was an orthopedic surgeon, and growing up he always heard stories about how the healthcare field helped people. He wanted to do that too. 15 years later, Dr. Byrne has worked with the most prestigious hospitals in the country and provided care for the NFL and NBA. Most of his career, however, was spent at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Southeast Missouri. This is because he can put his family first, the people are down to earth, and PCMH promotes true patient care. He’s allowed to take his time to understand them. Perry County Memorial Hospital also provides state of the art equipment to put lives back together. This allows him to go home happy, knowing he’s made a difference.
