Botch Drumcam Multicam Prague, CZ @ MeetFactory To Our Friends in the Great White North

I arrived in Prague on Wednesday evening (Friday night show), so I'd get a day to tour around Prague. Hung out with Luis Mota who is our TM in the US and is also along on this tour with us. We spent Thursday walking around the city, up to the castle and cathedral, down through the streets, into a record store, coffee at the dancing house etc.

The rest of the band and out of town crew flew in Thursday afternoon, so we all met up for dinner.

Day of show, left the hotel at 11 and loaded in to the venue. Like many bands who tour Europe, we rent our backline. So the drums I'm playing are provided (I fly with cymbals, snare, and pedals). Dave and Brian rent amps and cabs, but bring their own guitars. The dudes at https://nofp.cz/ do an amazing job getting bands set up and, like I was in June of 2023, I was very happy with the equipment they provided, it's a Yamaha Oak Custom kit.

One key difference about playing in Europe is that a lot of clubs will provide dinner for the band and crew rather than providing a 'buy-out', cash provided to get dinner on our own. I'm guessing this has a lot to do with the locations of venues and the sparsity of delivery services. This night was cool because most of us were ready to eat at the same time, so we chowed down together which was a nice break of pace from the rush of the day.

Great Falls is along with us on this tour and they're fucking amazing. Three dudes with a huge stage presence making some awesome music.

Botch set was uneventful I think, which is a blessing for the first show on a new continent. Great crowd that was engaged and moving all night.
