This is the requested transcription I did of The Doobie Brothers song "China Grove" from their 1973 album "The Captain and Me". The bass player on this track was Tiran Porter.

I've always liked this song and used to play it in a band, and as it turns out, I used to play it wrong...

I found this video on YouTube -    • DOOBIE BROTHERS CHINA GROVE & LISTEN ...   and it helped me to hear his feel for the song a little more. I also found hammering on from the B to C# in almost every instance helped with the feel and flow as well.

It's a rockin' tune to play along with, and is sure to get your blood pumping!
