After only having an audio doorbell for years, I’m more than excited to review the #ArloVideoDoorbell. Overall, I’m really impressed with it, especially in terms of video, night vision, its Alexa integration, plus the ability to buy person, package or pet detection with Arlo Smart. And at about $150, it’s more affordable than many of its competitors. Keep in mind that Arlo Smart starts at $2.99 per camera per month, which includes 30 days of cloud storage. Of course, there are discounts for up to 10 or 20 cameras in total.

The #ArloVideoDoorbell works in temperatures from negative four to 113 degrees Fahrenheit, an impressive range. It’ll be hardwired into your home and requires ad existing electrical doorbell and chime setup, so if you’re looking for a wireless video doorbell, then the Arlo Video Doorbell certainly isn’t for you. It also only works with Alexa, making it a poor choice for those in the Google ecosystem. Some cool features of the Arlo Video Doorbell include the fact that you can play pre-recorded messages for guests and have guests leave voice messages for you! The device also comes equipped with tamper detection plus a siren, which will go off if anyone tries to mess with it.
