Another evidence of great value for money of Presonus Eris E4.5. Even though You can have it for half the price of Yamaha HS5, it manages to sound as good if not better IMO. Again Yamaha shows honky and lean sound with nice, clear upper midrange and top end. E4.5 trails slightly behind HS5 interms of top end clarity, but overall I find it more enjoyable and better balanced. For the price E4.5 is a no brainer for anyone looking for great sounding compact desktop speakers. What do You think? Would You pay for HS5 twice as much as for E4.5?
