Changing the BMW e30 Fuel Pump - External | Project Monroe

So you are minding your own business and this awful whining noise is coming from the rear of your e30 which for once isn't your Mrs - you get out and investigate and stick your head underneath the car and find out it's the infamous death whine coming from the fuel pump.

Time to whip out the plastic and order yourself a cure for the whine (Pity the Mrs whine isn't so easily fixed eh?)

As the sloth e30 is an older iteration we have both the internal fuel pump and external just to be awkward so this video is us changing the external fuel pump.

Symptoms?

High pitch whine when running - might become worse on longer drives or heat.
Sluggish performance - Might struggle with power delivery
Poor MPG
