Frontier Mall - Cheyenne Wyoming | ERA_Productions

Hello everyone, and welcome to the Frontier Mall in Cheyenne Wyoming! Opening in 1981, frontier mall would be the premier shopping destination for the Cheyenne region. The mall would originally consist of Sears and Fashion Bar as original anchors, with JCPenney and Joslin‘s being added on shortly after the mall opened. More changes would happen in the 1990s including a renovation to the mall in 1995, and Dillards opening up in 1996. Dillards with operate two anchors at Frontier Mall, after they took over Joslin‘s as well . Not much would happen from there until the 2010s, when anchors would start shifting. 2016 with the Sports Authority close, and the space would be taken over by Planet Fitness. In early 2018, Sears would end up closing, and the space would be taken over by Jax Outdoor in 2019. Also in 2019, Dillards would downgrade the Joslin’s building to a clearance center, while keeping their 90s store open as a full line store. In 2020, Dillards were close the Frontier Mall clearance center. In 2021, AMC Theaters would close. As of 2024, Frontier Mall is still doing successful for the Cheyenne region.
