77th Independence Day Celebration by Pakistan Railways Karachi Division

August 14, 2024 – The 77th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with unparalleled enthusiasm and patriotism by the Pakistan Railways Karachi Division. The day was marked with a series of events that showcased the deep love and reverence for the nation.

The highlight of the celebrations was the grand flag hoisting ceremony held at the Divisional Superintendent's office. The flag was raised amidst a spirited crowd, symbolizing the unity and determination of the Pakistani people. Alongside the flag hoisting, a sapling was planted by the Divisional Superintendent, Muhammad Nasir Khalily in the DS office and prayers for the continued prosperity and well-being of the country.

Continuing the celebrations, the Divisional Superintendent embarked on a visit to the Pakistan Railway Hasan Hospital Karachi. The flag hoisting tradition was performed at the hospital as well. During his visit to the hospital, the Divisional Superintendent visited various wards, engaging with patients and distributing sweets as a symbol of solidarity. He inquired about their health and the medical facilities provided.
